Hatfield House
Hatfield House, the Hertfordshire home of the 7th Marquess of Salisbury. Built between 1607 - 1611 by Robert Cecil 1st Earl of Salisbury and Chief Minister to James I, has been in the Cecil family ever since.
The State Rooms of this celebrated Jacobean House are rich in paintings, furniture, fine tapestries and historic armour. The extensive garden was originally planted by John Tradescant the Elder in the early 17th century. In the garden can be found the Great Hall, the only surviving wing of the Royal Palace of Hatfield (1485) where Elizabeth I spent some of her childhood.

Knebworth House
One of England's most beloved stately homes, and famous worldwide for its rock concerts and as the home of Victorian novelist Edward Bulwer Lytton - author of the words - 'The pen is mightier than the sword'. Knebworth is a popular venue for filming and it was Wayne Manor in the first series of Batman films and has featured in The Shooting Party, Wilde, Jane Eyre, The Canterville Ghost and Haunted Honeymoon.
